Broadcast towers in central Minnesota
The IDS Building in downtown Minneapolis. Some 775.5 feet, it is the tallest building in Minneapolis since 1972. It is home to many FM and TV backup facilities. A statue of Mary Tyler Moore throws a hat up to Twin Cities broadcasters at Nicollet Mall and 7th Street in downtown Minneapolis.
Hubbard Broadcasting KSTP in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This tower was once used for KSTP-AM, KSTP-FM and KSTP-TV. All three transmitters have moved to different locations, but this self-supporting tower is a landmark at Hubbard Broadcasting headquarters, 3415 University Avenue SE in Minneapolis.
