Broadcast towers in central Minnesota

The Shoreview, Minnesota, broadcast towers. Each is 1500 feet tall. They stand like beacons on the north side of the Twin Cities for FM radio and television.

The IDS Building in downtown Minneapolis. Some 775.5 feet, it is the tallest building in Minneapolis since 1972. It is home to many FM and TV backup facilities. A statue of Mary Tyler Moore throws a hat up to Twin Cities broadcasters at Nicollet Mall and 7th Street in downtown Minneapolis.

The Foshay Tower in downtown Minneapolis day and night .  With 32 floors and 447 feet in height. plus the tower bringing it to 607 feet above the street.

Hubbard Broadcasting KSTP in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This tower was once used for KSTP-AM, KSTP-FM and KSTP-TV. All three transmitters have moved to different locations, but this self-supporting tower is a landmark at Hubbard Broadcasting headquarters, 3415 University Avenue SE in Minneapolis. To the left is a weather radar.
